The
Arthur Hills Signature Course at Palmetto Hall Plantation
Palmetto Hall Plantation's Arthur Hills Golf Course
opened for play in March 1991 and is a sculpted beauty
with subtle contouring, a distinctive layout and a
rare touch of genius.
Created by renowned designer Arthur Hills, this par-72,
6,918-yard course is a graceful masterpiece that gently
flows across the land's naturally rolling curves,
winding through deep thickets of moss-draped oak and
towering pine punctuated with sparkling lakes.
Like the best of Hill's work, the course is seamlessly
integrated into the naturallanscape. Along with the
designer's trademark undulating fairways, this heavily-treed
course features protected greens, many edged with
bunkers, as well as strategically-placed water hazards.
Perhaps ths most memorable is the large lake bordering
the difficult, dogleg-left finishing hole.
Four different teeing areas; gold, blue, white and
forward, comfortably accommodate any golfer and offer
four distinctly different, yet always challenging
golfing experiences.
