The George Fazio Signature Course at Palmetto Dunes

Having been recognized by Golf Digest as a four-star resort course, the George fazio Course offers a fair yet demanding challenge unique to the Lowcountry. In an area famous for its challenging marshland layouts, the Fazio Course is a more traditional layout with tree-lined fairways and generous fairway bunkers. With only two par-5s, this classic course puts a premium on finding fairways and greens. Depending on which tees yo choose, the course can easily accommodate the beginner while providing a true test for the avid golfer from the championship tees.
The George Fazio Course has a local reputation of being one of the most challenging yet forgiving courses on Hilton Head Island. There are few water hazards in play, and there is no out of bounds to the right on any hole. This makes it somewhat easier to keep the ball in play, but also puts a premium on the approach and short game. The greens were renovated in 1994, restoring the course to its original Top-100 excellence and solidifying the George Fazio Golf Course as one of the Island's finest tests of golf for all levels of play.
